What is object replacement?
Object replacement means taking one item in a photo — an old sofa, a dated lamp — and swapping it for a different one, while keeping everything else identical.
It's how catalogs swap products without re-shooting, and how designers preview alternatives in a real room.
The hard way vs the easy way
In Photoshop, you'd mask out the old object, paste the new one, fix the edges, repaint shadows, and color-match the lighting. That's 30+ minutes per image.
Our Object Replacer does all of it in one click — same position, matching perspective, lighting, and contact shadow.
How to replace an object
- Upload a photo of the scene containing the object to replace (image 1).
- Upload a photo of the new object (image 2).
- Optionally name the target (e.g. 'sofa') and the replacement (e.g. 'chair').
- Generate, then download the PNG.
Tips for a clean swap
The clearer the target object in image 1, the better the AI finds and replaces it. Good lighting and a visible silhouette help.
The replacement photo should show the new object clearly — a clean product shot works best.
